Silver Bee Venom: The One Product You Should Buy

I have been using Deborah Mitchell’s Heaven Skincare for just over a year now, having become frustrated with brands that either delivered results but weren’t very natural, or very natural but not so effective.

For me Heaven does both, gives amazing results and is natural.

My absolute favourite product is the Silver Bee Venom mask (there are a couple of products that come a very close second though, such as the Overnight Success Oxygen Cream and the New Edition Cleansing Cream). I always say to clients that if you can only have one product, this is the one. It is so versatile and with amazing results.

Silver Bee Venom is known as the natural alternative to Botox, because it uses Abeetoxin, a natural alternative to injectable botulism, to control the facial muscles. The result is an immediate anti-ageing effect, firming, softening frown lines and wrinkles and releasing collagen – and it is suitable for all skin types.

Unlike its chemical equivalent there are no side effects (as long as you aren’t allergic to bee venom or honey). The ingredients in the Silver Bee Venom are completely natural and organic.

Collection is safe to bees

How does it work? It effectively tricks the skin into thinking it has been stung, thereby activating the skin’s natural healing response. The bee venom is collected in a safe way to the bees, so none die as a result.

It smells amazing – you can spot the Manuka honey in it – and it soaks into the skin, leaving a slightly luminous look.

It also has organic rose and lavender essential oils, Shea butter and organic marshmallow (a herb), which makes the Silver Bee Venom is rich in Vitamin E and Beta-Carotene – two very powerful antioxidants. Organic marshmallow is soothing to the skin, while the Shea butter has healing properties and is a great moisturiser. Rose and lavender essential oils are both good for skin soothing and nourishing, as well as relaxation.

Softens my frown line

Most of the Heaven products have emotional meanings as well, this means that not only have you got an amazing skin product for your skin, but they also benefit your emotional wellbeing.

I have a ‘frown line’ between my eyes, so I always put some on there to help soften it.

It’s a really versatile product and can be applied: on top of moisturisers and serums, instead of a moisturiser; before you apply your foundation; on its own as a mask (applied more thickly for 10 – 20 minutes or even left on overnight); as a primer and base foundation; on your eyes and neck for an instant boost; or even just as a moisturiser.

Abeetoxin tingles and stimulates

The Silver Bee Venom works on all skin types, and because of its ingredients encourages healing. You may experience a slight tingling feeling when you put the cream on – that is the natural healing process being stimulated by the Abeetoxin in your skin. If you don’t, it doesn’t mean the product isn’t working; it’s just that some people don’t feel anything.

The bee venom mask is also available in Black and Gold, which I also sell: prices vary due to the quantity of bee venom in the product. The bee venom in the Gold version, for example, is from the queen bee. As there is only one queen in every hive, the product is limited to one per person.

I have to confess, I haven’t tried the Black or Gold yet. They’re on my shopping list but, in all honesty, I love the Silver so much I haven’t felt compelled to try the others with the extra price tag as well.

The Silver Bee Venom mask costs £55 for 30ml and £82 for 60ml but you use it in very small amounts so it can last for 6 months.

When you come for a treatment you will be given samples to take away and use at home.

You can use the Silver Bee Venom mask alongside your existing products, if you have have an affinity to a particular moisturiser.
